Project Description

We were given a chapter to complete on a specific echnology tool that can be used in K-12. This chapter as well as the other chapters created in this course will make up a textbook. The Chapters include in Podcasting, Mobile Technologies, Open Source Links, Second Life, Virtual Reality, Wikis in the classroom, Google tools, Webinars, YouTube, Gaming in higher Education and Gaming in K-12. Each chapter contains lesson plans as well as tutorials.

Lessons Learned

This was my first class that I had used Peanut Butter Wiki, I had learned how to use, edit and post to my chapter. My chapter includes, historical background on using YouTube, how is YouTube relevant to Education, a few Glossary terms, Start-up costs, lesson plans and tutorials as wells as a listing of several sources used to gather the information. I had also learned about other chapters also created such as Podcasting, Second life, Virtual Reality to name a few.

Modifications Made

The modifications made include converting the PowerPoint Presentation on YouTube in a PDF format and posting it by editing the wiki page. This will allow viewers to easily access the information from the Peanut Butter Wiki page. I feel that these are the only changes that are needed for this chapter on YouTube.
